Quick coil removal Question

HI
I'm removeing the PS center plug wire and coil. Everything is disconnected except a green connector attached to a metal base that I can not get off. Is there a tab or trick to remove. I do not want to brake it.

Thanks Jeff

Quick coil removal Question

Jeff, there is a tab holding the connector to the thin metal bracket. Push down and slide in towards the engine (Ithink??)

I use I tine screwdriver to get at the tab between the male and female side of the socket, then push the tab AWAY from the socket. Its not a push in like many of the others.

Marte & Next7

Thanks for the advice. I've seperated the male and female parts of the connector. Put I'm still having problems with the male part and the metal finger it locks into. I wanted to test the coil but the metal finger locks it to the engine. I don't see any tabs and I tried to push a small screw drive into the slot from both side but no luck.

I thought I could figure out anything but this one has me stumbed.
If I get frustrated enough I'm solve it with a wire cutter, hacksaw and hand granade.
