It has a regular title because the insurance company did not get a claim. He had liability on it, but not collision. Yes, that is why he got rid of it. He didn't have a place to store it, work on it, or even part it out. He came to me and offered me a good price because he knew that I could get it back on the road. There were some better deals on getting it fixed, because the $14,000 was all new parts. He really lost his pride and joy with this one, and knew it was time to say good-bye. I have stayed in contact with him and showed him pics of it. I will try to get down and show it to him when I get it all done.
 I don't really think I made the price change any by keeping this one on the road. There are not that many anyway. I did it for the car.

When you merge onto a two lane road you're supposed to look over your shoulder aren't you? That would suck running into someone I find myself guilty of not watching what's in front of me.

Yes you are. He was looking over his left shoulder to see if anything was coming and when he looked around, this donkey had stopped again. He was over the line and was in traffic. Why he/she stopped, John did not know. Yes, I have come close to hitting someone like that myself. I don't even want to think about it.
