Intermiten wipers

What is the story with speed changing wipers. Mine are like every 4 seconds when standing still and go right to Med. speed at 40 MPH. I know I can turn off the Speed adjustment so it will wipe every 3 sec. or what ever. I like the feature I just wish i could control it so it never goes to MED. Is there another adj. that allows it to remain intermitten when you are driving or do you have to do it manually. WOW! now I am confuussed as to what I am saying.

The wipers are speed sensitive, the faster you go the faster they go

And I don't know of a way to change that.

Only way to change it is to shut the wipers off and use the "flick" method

I'm the opposite, I wish there was an even slower intermittant mode.

Also note that you can set the delay between the notches to fine tune to your liking.

i've tried to adjust between the notches a little bit but i didn't seem to notice too much of a difference.

I notice that on the smallest delay setting as soon as you reach 40kph there is no delay. I adjust it to where the delay is back to <40kph times and usually leave it there.

Me too. I actually wish it wasn't speed sensitive at all, although it is cool when any intermittent setting goes full on when you reach a certain speed.

Ok now we can close this subject : If u Put it on intermit, and turn the knob 1 or 2 knoches down ( I think mine is two, at least that is what it looks like to thes old eyes ) the wipers will wipe one swipe every 3 seconds untill you reach 55 and then go in to normal slow speed. Problem solved . THANKS guys. owned the dam thing for 10 years and never fig. it out.
