See anything familiar?

It's an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato. Never seen one before...

Maybe this is where Giugiaro got his window idea from?

I read an article recently on the new Vantage Zagato making the auto show rounds. If I remember correctly, Zagato is a design studio, like ItalDesign or Pininfarina, that has been making custom bodied and slightly tweeked Aston Martins since the 60's. The price of the Zagato is substancially higher than the regular Vantage, more than double, I believe. Not that the Vantage is cheap to start with. This, and the fact that no one can seem to find one for sale, should give you an idea how much one of these things probably costs. I'll find that article tomorrow, see if it says anything else. I'd do it tonite, but my head is still too fried.

Hmm

I wonder if the windows are the same dimensions...I'd probably be able to find an upper drivers side window for that thing easier!

You are correct.

There is a long connection between the Zagato studio, and Aston Martin. Goes back to the DB4 I think, they had a really beautiful car that ran in Le Mans.

Rowan Atkinson [aka Mr Bean ] was one of the first customers for these cars above. He was a long-term Aston fan, though maybe recently he defected to a Ferrari 456.

So would I if I had his money!!
