SOLD

State SVX is in: Oregon

Year: 1992

Model: svx

VIN: jf1cx3534nh105961

Paint Color: pearl/black

Interior Color: grey

Miles: 220,000

Location: Coos Bay, Oregon

Options: lsl

AWD or FWD: awd

Modifications: ecutune, small car shift kit, drilled and slotted rotors, tranny cooler, infinity speakers, perrin lightweight pulley, probably more.

Major service: head gaskets 20k miles ago, 2 wheel bearings, ball joints, front axle, 2 coils, pcv valve, sol c, lots of little things.

Engine Condition: Runs great.

Maintenance Records: All fluids changed regularly. castrol syntec blend in engine. synthetic in diffs.

Transmission condition: bad. blown front differential. AWD binds in corners.

Glass condition: Crack on bottom of windshield. Doesnt interfere with vision.

Type of tire and remaining tread: Brand new Kumhos. 95%

Type of wheels: Stock

Interior condition: Very good. Missing passenger visor.

Body condition: Good. Few small dents, scratches, paint chips. Cracks on front bumper. Paint chips on rear spoiler.

Known defects or problems: Front diff. Sunroof tilts up but doesnt slide back. Rattle in rear suspension. Front left caliper rattles. Probably some more little things. Not sure if the keyless entry works. I just use a key. I think i have the remote somewhere. I remember the alarm does work.

Comments about the car: Ive had this car for six years, 70k miles. Its been a really good car. Lots of power, always starts, never left me stranded (except this time). I just put $1000 into the car (tires, axle, wheel bearing), and need to get at least that much for the whole car. I just bought a truck, so i dont need the car anymore. I would rather sell the car broken than fix it and then sell it. If no one wants it, i may put a new tranny in it and then sell it.

Asking price: $1000

I've got a good diff that would work with this if anyone on here buys it...

Re: 1992 svx blown front diff. $1000

The awd was binding before the front diff blew. It might be better to replace the whole tranny and fix both problems at once.

I might be interested, worse case it's a match for parts for my own, and close. Timing of payment could be an issue. PM me if you could wait till about Feb.

I've got the entire tranny out of my SVX, the only problem with it is the pump is hosed... Trans AFAIK is fine, no metal shavings in it when I drained the fluid.

I still have the car. I dont have a trailer or any way to transport the car. I could probably disconnect the rear drive shaft if someone wanted to come get it with a car dolly.
