Whichever you feel like :P They're pretty close.

Unless the dollar takes a huge dive between now and then anyway

I can't hold the car for you, so you should take out a loan and buy it now to be sure

Re: FS: 6-Speed 92 Subaru SVX

Fixed a couple things on the car over the weekend. Shifter doesn't squeal any more, put the panel under the steering wheel back on, minor stuff.

Still needs a shift boot, but the interior is almost in one piece again

Someone should buy it.

Re: FS: 6-Speed 92 Subaru SVX

FSMs are no longer included, but I still have spare headlights, taillights, suspension, brakes, fenders, hood and seat leather I can include if a buyer wants them.

The rx7 wheels are gone too, it's on stockers

The reverse lights don't work
There's no shift boot
The trans crossmember could be improved
The gas pedal needs to be improved

That's the by and large of it.

Oh, and a DCCD controller would make it better, BUT it's an 06 trans so it has partial mechanical lockup, so it's not necessary.

Re: FS: 6-Speed 92 Subaru SVX

so a dccd controller is all that is needed to set that up? that is, is is plug n play with the switch or is there more wiring to be done?,,,

i am seriously interested in this car. i am currently looking into how to get it into the us. does bc have emission tests? if so does it pass? thanks again,

Re: FS: 6-Speed 92 Subaru SVX

We dont have emissions here, but the engine is pretty much stock... but you'd probably have to swap a stock exhaust back on for the testing.

a simple DCCD controller takes about 7 wires to install (power, ground, 2 to the trans harness, hand brake, foot brake, tach). There are more complicated ones with more to wire in.

But I've driven it up a pass mountain in 6 inches of snow and it did just fine. Better than when it had the automatic in fact.

Re: FS: 6-Speed 92 Subaru SVX

What do people think is a fair price for this?

I have it on 5 subaru forums with very few serious inquiries. Am I way out of line?

These cars just aren't selling at all right now.

Re: FS: 6-Speed 92 Subaru SVX

It's a very fair price as it stands. I am guessing this would have been sold long ago if it was located in the US.

Re: FS: 6-Speed 92 Subaru SVX

Unfortunately the reality of the situation at this point is that I can't afford to put a car I can't sell into storage, and I don't have room for it anymore.

If I haven't sold it by the time I get my impreza back 100% on the road, I'll be pulling the motor and trans and scrapping the car, which is really sad because it's totally rust free
