Im good! Spent all my time either driving my SVX or playing Counterstrike Souce.

No, just kidding. In reality, I have been quite busy, but there are payoffs.

I have a job again. I am worrking for Fiberpipe now (one of the major upstream providers) that also feeds the SVX server. Needless to say, I work for the same company Jim does. This means that there are now TWO SVX's outside Fiberpipe in the parking lot.

Radiator update. The modifications to make sure or proper hood clearance are being made and when the batch is finished they will be enroute to the US. The bad news is that the minor modifiation has put delivery date back to Feb 22. I hope that everyone agrees that a minor delay to make sure of proper drop in fit, can be dealt with. So, in short, the project is still a GO.

More information will be made public soon with more pictures as well.

I hope you all dont think I walked away from the project!

YEA! CHRIS NO LONGER MIA!

Chris,
1. V. gratified to hear you're gainfully employed... in our society, life sucks without money. That's why WE ARE ALL GOING TO SEND YOU AN EXTRA $10. Please don't argue...you don't want to upset Tom (tomssvx). Remember, he's from Jersey, home of the Sopranos. Please, he scares me and I'm fearless!
2. The delay in rad delivery is necessary...will those in dire need stop grinding Chris for theirs yesterday. I know, easy for me to say...my stock rad is fine.
3. I'm on list (back on p.13 of this thread I think) as a "No hurry". Sent you e-mail to confirm...so please confirm.
4. Please settle the "controversy" as to where we send the money for rad and an extra $10 toward your Internet connection tab.
5. Never a doubt you'd not walk away from project...although driving away at v. high speed may have occurred to you.
Have a fine weekend,
WGJ

WGJ, I think PWR is going to bill us for the radiator. As far as Chris's 10 spot I don't know.

Well from what I know about Chris, I know that he probably won't tell you how to send him money, but if you like you can send it to me, and I'll send it to put towards paying the bill for our connection, or........

Well if our tight lipped leader is so humble as to decline our appreciation in the form of cold hard cash, then I might resort to other measures to get this info. I really didn't want it to come to this chris, I mean you have done so much for us and all we want to do is show our appreciation to your hard work. Well looks like I gotta go make a phone call or two and have this situation taken care of. Chris you have until friday to come though with your paypal adress or else ill put an order into some friends of mine. Got me? well I will be here waiting patiently............salute

I don't see why it would be a problem....I would go back a few pages and read Chris' post on the email he wanted sent to him with your info.

Hope it works out for you, I am sure PWR would love the business.

The PWR site says a custom radiator is a 5 to 7 day turnaround. Is this 4 month thing due to so many radiators being built?

Radiator 5 to 7 days?

It must be or perhaps it's the tranny cooler? Who knows I just can't wait to toss my old plastic junk pile.

Hi everyone. I was getting a little nervous over this. My radiator is shot, and I need my car back! I believe about half of us are riding in this same "no car" boat.

So I emailed PWR to assure everything is on track, and it is.

Received the following reply:

Quote:
HI ROBERT

THE SVX GROUP BUY IS STILL GOING ON. SHIPPING DATE IS 2/22/05.
THE PRICE IS $450.00 PLUS SHIPPING.
THERE ARE MANY COMING PLEASE UPDATE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE.

THANKS FOR CONTACTING PWR.

CLINT BARRY.

Yes, I realize this is exactly what we already know, but the sudden stoppage of communication can make anyone a little apprehensive. I appologize upfront if my contacting PWR offended anyone. Putting myself at ease was my only intent.

Unhappy shipping cost

I understood the original deal, from the beginning, was $450 shipped to us. If shipping is separate, then how much might we expect shipping from Australia to be?? This could be another $200??
