When would one be expected to pay if one gets on the list now?

My rad is fine but I might like having this better one just in case.

There's no reason why it can't be physically done, and I think it was mentioned that using one would not hurt anything.

awesome solution

Chris I just wanted to thank you for all your efforts.

And whining. Anyone who has ever owned an SVX always has to wait for parts 90% of the time.

This by far would be a major improvement to the entire Heat issue. I don' tthikn you would need an external cooler with this Design.

I would like to be in on this, since I need a tranny cooler anyways.
But it's Xmas and things are just tight. Plus 2 years ago or 20k less, I replaced the radiator to the updated one.
I went stock as there weren't many options that would fit... Now everyone needs to thank Chris ALOT for finding a company that is building a Drop in unit.. That far improves your tranny life.

If the Cash flow changes I will post or PM otherwords let ya know.

Happy Holidays

For ultimate cooling you would still want to keep the extra tranny cooler as the cooler in ANY radiator will not cool below the temperature of the antifreeze.

Question

I'm interested but I'm still wondering about a tranny cooler delete option...

Thanks!

If it is there, it won't bother anything even if you don't use it. Just keep the fittings covered to keep dirt out and it would still be usable in the future if needed. JMO

I'd be more interested in saving a couple dollars and saving some time during manufacture.

Radiator

In a case like this it would cost more to change a few I think, and I'm thinking about converting mine to an engine oil cooler.

Lightbulb !

Great idea - would it flow enough to do it Chris?
I bypass the tranny cooler anyway and I've been wanting to do an oil cooler.

Tranny cooler passages are usually not large enough to work as an engine oil cooler. :-(

Isn't the oil cooler uber small? I know my tranny cooler has bigger lines that that thing.

Radiator-tranny oil cooler questions

1.If it is the case that the 5 pass tranny cooler in the radiator can flow 90 wt. tranny fluid why wouldn't it flow engine oil of half the viscosity?
2.Where is the after market tranny cooler located?
3.Is there a big difference in airflow between the positioning of the aftermarket tranny coolers and the rad tranny oil cooler?
4.What's the difference in surface area?
5. Pressure required to move both types of oil through the cooler?
Look forward to your responses.
Thanx,
WGJ
