Tranny workshop manual, part numbers
Is there anyone selling or having sold a '92 car who would sell me a Workshop Manual, either complete, or specifically the volume for Engine and Gearbox.?? I will pay your price, and shipping.
Also, is there anywhere we can see an archive of parts numbers? Eddycat answered this in the negative before, and I got the impression the part number manuals or cd's or microfiches had trade prices attached, so lists of part numbers would not be made available to the general public. This seems odd business practice to me, stupid even. What do they do when prices change? Junk the whole book and issue another one? I have a parts book with exploded drawings and attached parts numbers for my Matra Murena, and there is not a single price in it. The dealers get another book with the parts numbers listed with the prices, which does get upgraded as prices change. The club should store this sort of information centrally for the benefit of the members, it will become more important as the cars get older. Joe PS you can email me direct from my profile.
