If it is anything like what occured in May or dispite being even worse Israel will hopefully withdraw, since judging by their strategy the IDF is paranoid that the Hezbollah took the prisoners to Beruit and therfore could have flown them out. However we should not forget there are more reasons that the IDF is retaliating as such.

I just hope they stop after what they did considering if they start sending in any more tanks and infantry or else it would start to echo the Syrian-Lebanese war of the 1980s when the IDF thought they can go into Lebanon to eradicate terrorist cells or most Syrian/muslim militias. And dispite what the Bush Adminstration announced it still would not fit into potential US military plans considering Lebanon is now an independent nation, even though there are still many Syrian policians within the government.

The fact is the Israel and Jordan (the US have their own agenda with Al Queda and dictators that express much hatred for them, even though they seeming to be merging it) seems to be the only nation reacting to what most people in the most Arab nations and in the rest of the world regard as heroic rebels fighting against western oppression and certain tyrany. But like those who taken threatening actions because they are void of other's opinions as well as the situation they must go in order to obtain lasted stability, like Billy the Kid. Just go watch the movie Hero sometime. It seems that Hezbollah, Hamas, Al Fatah, OPEC and Al Queda seem to have a roadmap in order to persuade virtually nation including some in the middle east to turn into tyrants and ultimately cause each other to collapse, no matter the cost to their own society or any for that matter in the long run.

Btw, do you have a garage for your SVX and is it underground. If not, a good cheap way would be to buy a large cargo crate and put it in a valley within the area of even create on for it yourself. And even though it is sensible from a 75% complete military perspective, even though Hezbollah probably uses HAM radios too, I really hope they don't bomb your company and destroying the power plants would do more harm to the Lebanese people than the terrorists, good luck.

Not to mention the creation of an organization that is and occording to their sources has pushed European, American and even the Jordanian government as well as broadbast networks to block what has been coined as Terror TV such as Hezbollah's Al Manar which broadcasts media specifcally aimed at gaining new recruits. Of course all of this news would probably make more people agree to this analogy in how this conflict that is escalating into a war can be solved, even though I question their motives.

We are actually getting pretty good live news coverage from CNN/FOX/MSNBC in English. They are providing factual data and pictures. It is terrible that civilian including women and children are being killed on both sides.

Is your Arabic news station reporting that there have been missiles other than the Kassam and Kaitusa rockets fired into Israel? A missile of Iranian manufacture hit the edge of Haifa killing a woman.

Have you seen any of the leaflets that tell Lebanese people to stay away from Hezballoh facilities and offices??

It sounds like a very good thing that you are staying in the Christian areas.

Which company do you work for? Cellis or Libancell? These two companies control the GSM needs of the entire country.

I am really pissed!!!!!!!!!! all the high tech weapons the israeli have and they couldn't kill but only 2 members of Hizbullah!! 80% of the other 75 people dead are civilian KIDS !!! I saw incinerated babies on TV !!

He is not Bin Laden, all people WORSHIP Hassan Nasrallah (Hizbullah leader), they actually WORSHIP him to the death, they are willing to sacrifice their families for him. The Israelis must face all the lebanese people (ARMED TO THE TEETH) if a land invasion will be in progress... Hizbullah is a very skilled and very trained COMMANDOS (yes all of them are commandos!!!), they have the latest missles available today (well how they were able to attack and damage that destroyer ??? ). I think the Israelis will be also terrified those couple of days... I know what will happen, let it be a surprise

Israel will be facing another Palestine here.. but the difference is that the Shiites are ARMED...

Man, for the prisoners I can say that Israel will never know their whereabouts... The only way they could regain them is for Israel to work on a prisoners exchange treaty with Hizbullah.

The funny thing about el Manar, is that Israel hit it like 10000X and the latter is still broadcasting normally on TV. Hizbullah has also an FM radio called "Al Nour" (also was hit but still broadcasting... )

Geez Silverspear, you state about how Hizbullah has such a large follow as well as how popular Hasan Nasrallah is in Lebanon but then you scratch your and yet wonder why the IDF is on shoot to kill?

And if the IDF was really out to destroy Lebanon one nuke would do the trick or if they decide to lease some fully conventional as in not nuclear armed B-52s from the US of course that would not kill off all of Hizbollah and would leave the entire world enraged at Israel or at least show a lot more hatred than what most already do.

Also probably thank a laptop with DVD player and portable camcorder as well as it being submitted to Al Gazera for Al Manar still being on the air.
