Here is the link to my how-to that I did about hood lifters for use with a CF hood. http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/files/How-To/14533.docI listed the NAPA part numbers that are needed.

Just curious..I know a while back there were hoods with theese nice little scoops molded into them. Looked real nice and clean. Was this the doings of class glass, or was it another company?

As the owner of one of the scooped hoods. I can tell you they are crappy quality.

CF wouldn't really save you all that much. Fiberglass is pretty light.... cf might be a couple lbs lighter, but it would be stronger.

The scooped hoods are kinda ugly IMHO. I'm still awaiting a shipping price on one of these black beauties.

If I had one on BillStock Level 3.5, I'd agree 110% with Tom

Way too heavy for me. I prefer the 1/8 inch race hood that reminds you its there once you reach 5mph in the pits. Very good quality and what do you need a hood scoop for unless you're feeding an intercooler?

Thanks, sorry for the bad grammar.
You can install a fiberglass or plastic scoop in/on the hood once you get it. Class Glass will not because it takes the sale of twenty hoods for them to recoup their mold investment.
You can use weak stock struts, or drill out the stock struts and use a pin, or you can make and use a hood prop.
