A testiment to Teenage Drivers. I made it to the store and back, no problems.

Thanks for caring Hotshoe. I just want to let you know that I just drove a whole two miles and nothing went wrong. I'll be back frequently.

Sincerely
Your local maniac teenage driver.

Jay, I understand that you're upset. I really DO understand. But, let's not resort to these tactics to get your point across. It was one man's opinion and, I'm sure he meant well (he did make an attempt at a disclaimer at the beginning of his post).

Just a note, all of my major accidents happened after I was 20 (one at 22, the other at 41).

Good thing they make those adult-diapers.

You did say "war," didn't you?

re: teenage driving statistics

hey jay, hotshoe does have a point. i'm not trying to be offensive toward teenagers or anything, i just remember the accidents that i had when i was a teenager.

not to say that all teenagers were like me, but statistics show that teenagers are more prone to accidents as well as people over the age of 80. that's why insurance co. charges so much for coverage for teenagers and that's why some insurance co. refuse to cover people over the age of 80 like 81 or something because of the liability issues related to the driving skills of younger and elderly {no offense to the older community out there}. (i believe they used allstate for 40 some odd years and after a slight bump to the rear by someone else, then insurance quit covering them. )

then i remember all the accidents that my friends had during the teenage years. you are probably a very conservative and responsible driver so don't let a generalization from someone get ya fired up.

Wow, I hadn't heard that. The gentleman who pulled out in front of me in 96, when I was 41, was 78! Looks like we both beat the odds.

And yes, Mike, I almost needed one of those adult diapers when I saw I was about to have an accident.

re: lol

yeah randy, we aren't in the statistics pool

actually remember the discount that you get after you turned 25? i think it's like 15%-20% or so off your insurance when a person turns 25.

also i've seen quite a few elderly turn up on the sidewalk against a stop sign

has to do with sight and reflexes. so if you don't take care of your body and train yourself to be fit you'll lose it as the phrase goes: "if you don't use it, you'll lose it!".

<Harry hands randy a diaper>

you'll need it in about another 50 yrs

Sorry, i didnt mean to upset the usual order. I was just a little agrivated. It's a wrap that is fairly earned but unfaily distributed. But just as I have asked Hotshoe to keep those opinions to himself, I too will hold on to mine. My apologies.

Greg,
No need to apologize. Good form. Like I said, I certainly understand. Thank you for understanding my understanding of understanding your aggravation.

One thing that this has proven, (to me, at least) is that, for the most part, the "young" SVXer, certainly exhibits class and a high level of maturity (Mike Davis, notwithstanding )
