Sweet & Sour
Aredub, I've never been to "Glitter Gulch" but if there is a Brandy Sweet there she may have an evil twin named "Brandy Sour". That's another drink you can get at any Milwaukee tavern. I have a friend (who would never admit to being my friend ) who drinks Mountain Dew mixed with Brandy. Bartender mixes it up and sets it down. I take a look at it and say "Ya know, the last time I saw specimen like that we had to shoot the horse".

I'd be game for an SVX take over of the light one day, just name the date.
I'll keep you posted. Right now things are kinda nuts. I'm just wondering if we'd be able to get enough SVXers interested to make a go of it.
As for boiling the brats in beer before or after grilling, the method I use is to boil them in beer and onions prior to grilling. While grilling them I cook some sour kraut in the pan I boiled the brats in. After I brown the brats on the barbi I put them back in the pan with the steamed kraut and let them "steep" for several minutes. Then it's just a matter of loading the brat and kraut on a bun and enjoying. Yup, a fine low calorie meal |
