Re: interchangeable rims

nice teal 92. I really like those rx8 wheels. Almost seems like they were meant for the SVX. I got my rims on today. I took off the rear spoiler to see how it looks. I actually think Im digging it. I think next I need a little lower springs. (too much gap between the wheel and the fender) Is your 92 lowered at all or is that just the stance with 18's?

Re: interchangeable rims

Thanks...stock height with circa 92 springs but recently refreshed struts. I have put a bit more camber in the fronts (-1.70) and stock -1.00 in rears so body roll not bad. I think the 4000 lbs with me in the driver's seat is pretty hard to overcome ! The "sans rear spoiler" does look good...reminiscent of the XT6 a bit, no ? Forgot toask (good thing there's an edit button)..what size tires are you running on your new rims? Looks like they take the stock SVX lug nuts too.

Re: interchangeable rims

whoa, those Lexus SC430 18" wheels look pretty crazy! Ive seen these before and always felt like this is what the delorean wanted to be.. haha.. if only they have waited a few years for those back to the future movies. Looks good though, nevertheless.

Im running 235/45-17's on those lexus rims. They actually came with the rims and have maybe 50% tread left. Oh, and yeah I used the SVX lug nuts. Im assuming that should be fine. I haven't driven on the rims yet so Im sure about rubbing issues or any noises and what not. From the space between the fender and the tire, I don't believe anything is gonna rub.

Im still not sure if Ill leave the wing off just yet. It does kinda remind me of the old XT6 for sure on the rear end. Maybe a 1"-2" drop in the front will convince me to leave it off. Ill prob throw it back on, snap a pic and do some side by side comparisons.

Re: interchangeable rims

The Lexus rims are gorgeous. You lose the open wheel look and showing crossdrilled rotors and nice calipers, but this is a more refined look and less ricey.
