I am so sorry to hear about that *angry face X 10!*

I am paranoid about leaving my car anywhere...and today there was the forecast of hail - I was not home and when I did arrive, my dad had went out and covered my car with blankets, then tied them all up (like a big present sort of thing) to stop them moving.

Hope you catch the &*(^*&^ who did it!

James

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

You should call a couple of hard pipe hitting DUDES to go to work on the holmes there. You hear me talking hillbilly boy in the rusty Toyota pickup? I'm gonna get medevil on yo REAR END.

I think we're all grown up enough to deal with movie quotes. And I think we're all mature enough to realize he didn't mean anything by them. And I think that if you're still offended you need to never leave your house, as the really real world doesn't censor movie quotes.

Cash,

If I want reality, I'll go back to my old neighborhood. It wasn't called Hell's Kitchen for nothing.
This site should project more refinement and class, just like the SVX.
It's called "Decorum". The world would be a much nicer place if all of us used it more.

I'm probably way out of line by asking this, but are you a black man, Larry? If not, you should not have been offended.

Not that larry cant defend himself.. But I have to step in on this one. It doesnt matter if larry is black, white, red, yellow, or barney purple. I find some language offensive. I find the word that starts with the letter "N" and is directed towards african americans very offensive. And I am as pasty white as they come. It doesnt matter white color you are here. That is one of the great things about this site. Remeber the saying "Cant we all just get along?" Perhaps we all need to step back and think about it...

Davie,

My ancestry is Scilian + Austrian . I am a caucasian.
I am not happy with the younger generation's easy use of profanity and that shows a lack of refinement whether it's in the movies, TV, music, or on a website. We (the USA) seem to be emulating the decadence of the Roman Empire. They lasted 1200 years. I don't think we will last half that time , if we continue on this path.

My original response was addressed to Squiggy's post. Since Squiggy did not reply, I assume he either agrees with me or just doesn't care.
I was surprised that Cash responded to it.

PS: I also didn't think "Pulp Fiction" or any of Quinton Tarrantino's (spelling ?) movies are very good. I rate them fair to passable.

Thanks. I'm purple with pink polka dots. Must be Martian Chicken Pox.
I'm also bipostual. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I side with you Larry. Pulp fiction (In my opinion, and I know others disagree) was horrible. Reservoir dogs was ok to rent.. but I wouldnt pay $8 to see it.

first: i love both redevoir dogs and pulp fiction.

second: we all think or even say things in anger, the heat of the moment, that we later regret.

third: once over reaction starts it doesn't seeem to let go easily.

fourth: sicilian and austrian? do you like stuff like pizza with puff pastries on top?

I will say this and then I'm done on this subject, since this is a car forum. No. It doesn't matter what colour you are here, nor does it matter to me. But apparently, it matters to society. The only reason why words like N***er or N***a exist is because we allow them to. Supposedly racism against african american exists today and is a problem. Well I think that's BS!!! As long as we look for implications of racism in words, gestures or whatever, racism will exist in the minds of everyone. If we ignore these entities and get over "the white man is the devil syndrome", we will reach a trully egalitarian society.

Ps. Larry, I wasn't attacking you and if you think I was, I apologize.
Dave
