1. All you guys are insane if you drive a car 145 MPH and you are not on a race track.
2. All you guys are insane if you drive a 11-16 year old car 145 MPH and don't expect something really really bad to happen.

that was a joke...I mean, the schoolzone should've given that away hahaha.

the sheer distance it would take to top out the SVX from a standstill and then return to a standstill would be a veeeerrrrryyyyyy long stretch of pavement.

I've thought that would be fun for a while now. Hook up some nitrous, hit it around 130 or so, and just see what happens?? lol

Try a car that is legally old enough to go to the bar with you, and of dubious mechanical reliability.......
1987 Nissan 200SX, 115mph with the headlights flipped 'open'; front end lift anyone?.....never drive whilst severely pissed off at an ex-girlfriend lol.

So far 170 for me. If a had a little more power, the final drive ratio @ 7,200 rpm in 5th gear will get the 300ZX to 193 depending on wheel diameter. There is another 300ZX guy that recently (stupidly might I add) raced a porsche at 200+. His rev limit was 8,500. Too fast for me.
