Significant Technical Input
I wasn't hammering on Chrysler's looks, it's just that they manufacture some of the world's worst cars. The really bad part is that they refuse to correct the known problems, they just let them continue to be problems, year after year.

by far..the ugliest newer car is the PT Cruiser...a Neon with a mini-hurse body...WHAT WERE THEY THINKING????? Beetles are not much better. but anything with woodgrain on the outside should be burned!

i don't like the Avalanche because of the two tone rubbermaid bottom...but i do like the Escalade.. i like the Aviator and the Navigator better though. and that Denali, that has a really nice interior, even though it is made by GMC. then again, i like trucks better than cars

Kelli just my opinion

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Well Kelli just my opinion, you're just lucky enough to have redeemed yourself by owning an SVX. And that's all I want to say about it.

ugly car and known problems

Talk about known unsolved problems..how about Subaru and SVX transmissions, brake rotors and wheel bearings...not to mention wheel bearing problems in just about every other Subby to come off the line in the last 6-8 years.

Notice how that says the 'all new Matador', you need to see the model before that to understand why the word butt is used before the word ugly.

Cool Digital Dash

I think the Suzuki Aerio wagon is pretty cool looking but my favorite feature is the digital dash. I really miss those... they were a cool thing in the 80's that just faded away. Maybe this is a first step in a resurgence? I doubt it.

As does Pontiac!!!!! So I guess the aztec is an ugly piece of poo poo.

As for ugly cars, I'm supprised nobody's mentioned the somewhat new Ford Bubble (AKA Taurus). I havn't seen anything recently that compares to the ugliness of that car. Could it have possibly been designed with more curves? The back window looks like it'll pop if you touch it too hard for Christ's sake. It's unfortunate that new cars are leaning toward this overly round/futuristic look. A nice balance of curves and corners makes for the nice looking vehicle.

I think of it more of a catfish than a bubble, just take another look at it from the front.

Well what about the new Impala? "Ohmygosh! We forgot taillights! Hey, anybody got a big sheet of red plastic? Naw, I don't much care what shade, as long it's red, sorta."

Looks like a mix between a Camaro and a Mustang Cobra II.
Put a HEMI in it and it'll fly.

My first Subaru was a '88 GL-10 wagon. Probably one of the few Subies that ever had a digital dash. Pretty cool!

With all the futuristic styling and technical gadgetry put into the SVX, I'm surprised they didn't design it with one. But I'm very glad they didn't, a car like this (and as GM finally figured out for the Corvette) needs the classic and racy look of analog gauges.
