Sorry but I need to chime in here and come to the defense of the cops who "drew there guns on 11 year olds". I grabbed many kids as young as 12 years old with guns. Just to give you 1 reason why there guns were drawn. The rocks that the kids were throwing at the house could have sounded like, to some neighbor, as "gun shots" when they were hitting the house and could have called it in as "possible gun shots". I for one when responding to a call for "possible shots fired" ALWAYS had my gun drawn! I don't know the whole story behind the story your friend told you but that is one possibility.

Why would the cop write you a ticket without the information from your ranger? Wouldn't he need the registration to get all the pertinent info?

The cop did not have the guts to show up in court yesterday. That resulted in the judge automatically ruling in my favor.

They give you a nice little card, I keep mine behind my license, that basically says this person has 24 access to legal representation, etc.. (More or less, if you write me a bogus ticket, you WILL see me in court and I WILL have a lawyer)
