Alcyone is what they called the SVX (and XT) in Japan. There's an eBay auction right now for an "Alcyone" badged SVX but that car is no different from the rest of them other than the badging from the JDM Svx's.

The term "Alcyone SVX" was used in the JDM market in the same way that "Subaru SVX" is used here.
The JDM carsd had the "SVX" (Alcyone) hood emblem and the "Alcyone SVX" lettering in the center tail light panel. Outside of Japan, the SVX had the familiar Subaru oval hood emblem and the "Subaru SVX" lettering in the tail panel. Certain countries had different options and color choices; for example Japan had 4 wheel steering, power folding outside mirrors and stereo controls in the steering wheel... Germany and the UK got glass headlight assemblies... Canadian SVX's got heated seats... The only "package" that was available was the touring package. its the same as our cars, except it has a few Jdm parts on it ( a few I think he got from us actually..) nice car, but dont think hes going to get what hes asking for it
