Arrow Decal wanted

Does anyone know where I can get the side decal that is in this pic.

I know its not the best pic but, perhaps you know what this decal is. Its the best pic I have of it. The only decal I have found is just the three letters "SVX"

It is the ItalDesign logo, which was name of Giugiaro's design studio in Torino, Italy.

There were two didderent versions of this logo. Ihe original had the ID logo, with ITALDESIGN underneath it.
The later version replaced the lettering with GIUGIARO.

He finally changed his company name to GIUGIARO DESIGN and uses this logo now:

Here is a photo of Michelle's car with the ID logo and Giugiaro lettering.

Any competent sign shop should be able to use one of these file to computer-cut
the logo in vinyl to whatever size you want, in whatever
color you choose.

You could also contact Michelle (thndrmtn92svx) to see if she has access to
a copy of her graphics file or the company who did hers.

A vinyl shop will charge you a setup fee. Someone here sells the decals, not to be confused with the metal emblem. Do a search for decals or stickers or vinyl, it should show up. I think he is from florida.

I got a set of the one's that say "giugiaro" under them. I was going to put them on my car, but I never did, and now I think I am going with the no decal look. I so want to remove the SVX decal form under the rear windows. To bad the paint is going to be faded under them.

That would be fl_svx. He used to make vinyl decals for us from his company, makemeasticker.com. The company is no longer in business and fl_svx hasn't posted in a year.

All of the sign companies I have used in the past have never charged me a setup fee. Most of them have a minimum price (usually about $35.00) and go from there.

The SVX logos for my center caps and the All Wheel Drive decals in my rear quarter windows were both done together on the same ticket for $40.00. Look in my locker in the 96 Polo Green folder)

I bought one of the small Design Giugiaro decals on eBay from nascar_junkie1. Looks good inside the fixed glass over the rear quarter garnish.

A matter of taste. I've noticed that certain cars have virtually no signage on them (Lexus for one), while others have all sorts of letters/numbers signs on various sections of the car. My taste runs ultra conservative. I'd prefer a car with no visible identification other than the name of the manufacturer. I think signage on cars is a waste and totally irrelevant. Who cares if the car has AWD, ABS, 4V, TC or whatever (OK, maybe V-12 wouldn't be too bad). Spending $35.00 on a vinyl decal that lists the name of a virtually unknown Italian designer seems a waste to me. Better to spend the money on an oil and filter change, a new air-cleaner, or a detail wash job. My opinion.

I agree for the most part, and like the fact that the SVX isn't covered in tags and graphics. But to me, that discreet Design Giugiaro decal inside the glass piques the curiosity of passersby who (in this area, anyway) are already scratching their heads over this odd make of car they've never before seen.

Or, maybe that fancy Italian name adds a dash of snob appeal to this poor man's exotic.

I feel the same way. I have not put additional stickers on my cars because I want people to wonder what it is. I think it also draws more attention with out the labels.

well I measured the screen and it came up as 7"x3". Think that's about right? I've asked around my local forums if anybody can make up a batch, I'll let you all know if something comes through.

I myself would love a Giugiaro decal. He is only unknown to the uninformed, not oly did he design my SVX and my Scirocco but he also designed my Nikon F3 and F4.
