You should probably check your speedometer accuracy, then... or check to see if you have the elusive JDM turbo version.

Turbo
I havent seen a turbo under my hood. How would you check for JDM.
All these people knocking the speedometer. How inaccurate do you think these gauges are. Do you think that the gauge is 10-15 mph off???? or more??? I have been driving a looong time. The gauges are fairly accurate and, like I said the car was beggin for more. Could have gone faster I have never heard of this elusive turbo model. I thought the touring package was the top o' the line for factory output. I am interested in this turb. Do you have any pics or links plz |

Alcyone
So, did they manufacture a line of just Alcyone. With the tail light and emblem or is that just all aftermarket stuff?

Do you have the breakdown ratios for all 6 gears? What is your final drive ratio? It seems pretty low. So Tom who did your swap have the same ratio tranny as you now?

When I try and work that out, I get around 6,400 rpm.

I havent accually been over 120. But at 120 I didnt have much left. The JDM 6-speed has a different 5th and 6th. Cruising at 75MPH I turn 3500RPM in 6th. I also have aftermarket wheels and tires, which means my speedo is off. I just dont know how much or which way. Last edited by mikecg; 10-12-2006 at 05:03 AM. |
