Brake Calibers Front

The guide pin on the bracket for the front caliber can you replace just that-- or does the caliber wear out before the pin--I want to do a brake job but 189.00 for a loaded caliber verse one that is 55.00. I hate to spend that much extra just for the pin. I have a lot of play in the mounting hole in the caliber and the bolt mount insert. I don't mind paying but just for a pin over a hundred bucks i know the bracket does not wear out so i am paying just for the pin---which looks like it is just press in.Other then napa or subaru does anyone else have the calibers.
Thanks

Yes you can buy the pin from Subaru. Make sure to add anti-seize compound on it when you replace it. This will prevent it from rusting and freezing in place. I believe it costs less than $10.
