The seat can easily be removed. It has three bolts on the back side and two in the front. Take the seat out and inspect the gliding mechanism.

i know that the seat is usually easy to get out, but the seat is stuck forward making it impossible to get to the front two bolts

you probably have a couple bucks worth of change in the track... thats what was making my seat difficult for a while, till i shook it out upside down... if it were me, id just keep tryin to slam it back and forth, to see if you can knock anything that may be jamming it loose... try at your own risk i guess...

A single coin will jam the tracks. Best to find a flashlight, screw driver and/or magnet and go fishing

Buy or borrow an extension for your socket set, that's what I did.

I don't know about you crazy Canadiens, but REAL money isn't attracted to a magnet.

i managed to just push the seat back and forth for a while and it finally went back, the culprit was a penny in the passenger track

Real money would just get chewed up by the seat.

Most pennies aren't attracted to magnets. Are they considered REAL money then?
