Question Indiglo Gauges

Hi all!

I am new to this site. I am the proud owner of a 1995 Red Mica SVX with about 47k on the odo. I have had her since new and she was a daily driver for the first 2 years. Now she is stored during the harsh and salt encrusted Chicago winters and driven only on sunny days during the late spring and early fall months. I have another car (1994 Ford Probe) that I use as my daily driver.
Glad to see that there are forums for this beautiful and rare car.

The reason that I am writing other than to introduce myself is that I was on e-bay and I noticed that they were selling these indiglo replacement gauges for the SVX. My baby is pure stock and I have made zero mods to her (save for a K&N drop in air filter which doesn't really count). These gauges seem interesting but I am wary of aftermarket parts unless they come from a reputable tuner. Especially when it comes to my baby.

Does anyone know anything about these replacement gauges? Has anyone had any experience with them? They say that one does not have to remove the needles. That makes me a bit more wary as to what they look like and what they are made of.

Any info would be appreciated!

Yoshi

Yoshi,

I think the gauges are good to go. I am ordering mine sometime this week. BTW, I am also in chicago area. Wheeling now. We are having a mini meet this weekend. Can you make it?

I will post the info and whereabouts of my place on the meet thread.

I got them... fit great... not that difficulat an install. Check out my registry entry on www.subarusvx.org - there's pics of them there. Also, make sure you put your car in the registry too.
