Any other SVX owners with FIAT's?
I know this is a shot in the dark but does anyone else have a FIAT Spider & an SVX? I noticed svxeno has one too. Probably just a fluke.

Once upon a time I HAD two Fiats.....A '66 850 coupe, & later a '68 124 coupe (same 1600 cc engine as the spyder). Both in rust heaven What's the question?
Ron.

Just two rare cars these days. The SVX and FIAT's. I fixed my rust and now it will never see any rain or salt.

My mate Fintan in Kerry has a LHD Spider he imported from California. He does not have an SVX, although he is a Matra fan like me. He has loads of classic cars. Best of luck with the spider, nice motors. I would have driven cars like Ron's 850 and 1600 coupe in the past. I like them a lot. They rust. They used recycled steel in them after the war years. Rust wasn't such a problem in Italy, the manufacturing country, except maybe in the Alps and the Dolomites, where salt would be used in the winter. [FIAT did not pay serious attention to rust prevention until after the Lancia Beta debacle, a crisis that nearly broke them] These days all countries use salt as a preventative, so the use is excessive. Cars with poor protection or bad steel or both have no chance. Keep them off the roads, or watch them crumble. Joe
