V8 and Focus in same sentence

Buy a beat up Focus for 4-5grand, buy the $14k kit and go Z06 hunting. Forget ricer... 5 liters, 420hp, and a tremec 5 speed... all in a quaint little focus... Imagine the possibilities I think I'd leave this little focus alone

Yeah that kit came out in like 2003. There's a vid floating around the web of someone doing a burnout..

And I just read another thing online where they are offering the 05 4.6 as well.

Still a sweet idea even if u dont like Focus'... Id never expect to hear a V8 growl from a Focus

Buy a nice SVX for 4-5grand, spend $14k on Stg3, 6mt, internals, and go Lambo hunting. Forget that ugly Ford.

14 g's Id spend 4 grand on a ttype and the rest to make it run 10's

then buy another one with the left over $$

For $2000 you aint going to get much in a used car if you think about it

my $500 93 Tbird has cost me $2000 in body work and parts and $500 for upper and lower ball joints not including the complete tune up I did on it

A used car usually means putting some $ into it eventually

My GF's 2002 truck is starting to give her problems I still go with the 5 year rule after 5 years its down hill

But it's still a ford. Buy a 944 Turbo for $8-10k, dump $5k in mods, and it will not only smoke that ford pos in a straight line, but it will TURN. You can't beat 50/50, especially in the twisties.

Well at least it's a Focus and not a Ford Probe. Seen enough of those guys lose cars because of trying to introduce NOS into it already. Don't need to see them start losing their cars just because they are crappy drivers and have to much power under the hood (hahaha, a new ford with any power that makes me laugh)

I think that would be one evil little car to drive. I guess the kit is making it rear drive too? I though the focus was fwd?

There is a nice long driveshaft going from the tranny to the rear (only) diff.
Normal Focus is fwd.

Europe has an AWD version of the Focus at least, but that's not much of a help, anyways for all you guys that need specs lists here you go for our monster called the Ford Focus RS8.

You could always pick up a used viper for 9-12gs, then go to that stupid smashmyviper.com thing that someone thought was cool enough to post...wreck the viper , get a million bucks, and spend that money on something nice, like a maybach sedan or a ferarri.
