New project started today.. 1 Peice trunk/Spoiler

Well I finally got my hands on a spare trunk lid and spoiler thanks to John. Today I decided to get started by moving the spoiler back on the lid to shere the angles of the trunk and the back of the spoiler line up nicely. This does cause some overhang but I will fixing that once I glass them together. My main mission with this project is to make it a one peice much like the prototype had. I am still not sure If I want to put it on my car or sell it to another owner. I will make that decision when I am finished... wish me luck

I have started the stripping process. I have striped the paint of all areas that will be in close contact with the resin. The biggest PITA is stripping the krylon black off the pearl parts of the lid that the PO tried to paint. That stuff is so thick and soft it clogs every peice of paper I got. Well I will have pics up tonight

Prova

The Prova spoiler is almost like the prototype.

It is a bolt on spoiler that prob bolts into the JDM points. Much like the JDM spoiler, that spoiler just comes down over the side of the lid. I don't like how large that spoiler is personally. I love the look of the stock spoiler, I just wanna have it molded into the trunk

No Tom, it doesn;t come down over the side, rather it has that look!! recheck it once again... the spoiler is easy to make, just keep detailing the pic until you get what to do exactly buddy...
