Guess we could figure out a schedule too. Maybe meet at the Super Mall around 11:30 - 12:30 (to make sure the late folks make it before the drive), set out on the drive at 12:30, and for those that can't make it to the first portion, the convoy would be at the Falls no later than 1:30 and you could meet us there at the upper parking lot. Sound good?

Time sounds good to me. Was there someone who was going to do a map? If we don't get a map posted, maybe directions to the Mall could be posted.

There is a sign up list so we can get a better idea of who will be comming. I know that some may not belong to this page, so will not sign up, but maybe if we confirm who will be comming, we can sign in for them to get a count.

I think Don was going to make PDF map of the drive route and hopefully the general area around the mall, etc. That would be really handy.

I saw the sign in list and signed in!

I also just posted a reminder in General Babble and over at Yahoo to do it too. But like you said, we can always add them in ourselves too. I have a old email list of NW members too I was thinking of sending out a bulk mail to them. I might wait until the map and everything is done so they could get all the info in one shot.

I am planing to be in Seattle for March 17. So.... maybe if I leave work early I can be up there to join your meet. I've spent some time in the area and will try to meet you at the Great mall. (where at the Great mall) about 11:30am on the 16th right?

Mitch - that would be cool if you could join us! Yep, the Super Mall at around 11:30. At around 12:30 or so we are going to try to head out on a drive to go up to Snoqualmie Falls, so if you got there later that is where we would be.

I believe the SW corner of the mall parking lot is what was mentioned. I'm not real familiar with the place, but those that are said it would be easy to spot the group in the SW corner. Someone is making a map of the area too and will be posting it soon.

Any word on the map yet and how many SVX's are comming so far?

It looks like we will 8 to 10 - maybe more. There are some that may not comitt, but will just show up. Thats ok. We will have a great time, and the more the better.

March 16 is fast approaching and it looks like we are going to have quite a few in attendance! Only unknown variable will be the weather of course.

We never got an "official" map done (unless someone wants to make one), but if any of you need directions or a map email me or post here and say what direction you will be coming from.

Well as everyone around here knows, the weather for Saturday is looking "questionable". Of course we are all Northwesterners and this is a way of life, but there may be some that this would deter from coming. I'd like to get an idea if there are some that won't be coming if it rains, or for any other reason. Also the weather might hamper our plans for the driving route, the SVX is quite cabable in snow but I'm not sure that it would be the best condition for a group drive ya know what I mean? So if we could get notice out to everyone in time, we might could meet someone else, perhaps closer to the cart track, etc. I think I'll just email everyone and check.....

Well...I'm really dissapointed

I was so looking forward to meeting you all this weekend, but my silly little sister is flying in from Hawaii on Friday (she lives there) and she wants me to fly to Spokane with her to look at some homes she might want to buy...OK, she's nutz...who moves from Hawaii to Spokane??... but I must go!

I really hope this SVX meet/drive goes well...I'd certainly attend if I could, so I hope there will be another opportunity soon

There will definitely be some kind of meet this summer when the weather is more predictable! We all met up for the first time last month and it is a great group of people. Keep checking in and something will get put together.

So are we meeting at the supermall or somewhere else? I think we might lose some of the people if we change it to somewhere else at such short notice.

There would probobly be one or two people that show up at the place we aren't meeting, and that would suck if they had already left from where they were coming from before you got the emails out, or posts up.

Not to worry, we are sticking to the original plan just for that reason! The southwest corner of the Super Mall parking lot at 11:30 am Saturday! If the weather is really bad, we may alter some of the plans on the spot, but we will definitely be gathering initially there.
