Realization

Well last night at midnight i turned 21 woo hoo!! However I am not one of the people that have had a fake ID since they were 16 and hoped now that i'm 21 i can do the bar thing. My friends and i all went to Friday's last night at 1130, so while we were eating midnight would roll around and i could get a drink. After i got it i took a few sips and thats it, i came to the realization, drinking just isnt my thing. I was actually kinda sad... I was hoping to have a little fun goin out to the bars now but i think im going to be a very good designated driver . Oh well.... I'll give it a few shots and see how it goes... I figured at the stroke of midnight on your 21st birthday u got hit by the power to drink lol....

Jen

Sometimes I wish I didn't like to drink But I just don't buy much, try to not keep much arround the house, only one bottle (hard) or a 6 pack, that way I always think I need to save it because I'm almost out

You just keep on trying Jen, if that wagon throws you just get right back on - Someday you too could crave the box-o-wine or an ice cold budweezer.

Beer - it's whats for dinner.

well, sorry I can't relate - drinking usually has always turned out to be a good time with some fond memories.

But - it's more than just drinking ...it's the ability to actually go places without having to get turned down admission. Maybe it's different 'cause you're a girl - but a guy under 21 can't get in anywhere where you actually need to be of age.

When my friends and I went to Florida, me and 2 other people weren't 21, but the other 3 were....well it absolutely sucked. All the clubs ....21+ ....bars ....21+. Everything it was very upsetting.

Gambling - does that interest u maybe?

oh - and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Happy Birthday Jen

What was it you were drinking? Might just be that you haven't found your "poison" of choice.

Roto is right, I cant drink beer, the taste makes me feel sick. However I do enjoy drinking vodka straight up. And don't feel so bad we all have vices, drinking just doesnt happen to be yours. Not one of mine either, I use soda as mine. If you cut me i swear the blood caffeine level would probably be past the point of fatal for the average human. (my record stands at drinking 5 liters of soda in a day, and then 2 gallons of oj in the same day, and then half a glass of water which i spit out cause water is so nasty at a college [and yes that was all one day])

Then again, I always have OJ around...

Happy birthday. You get drunk and crash an SVX and we'll kill you.
