I don't think I've ever ordered anything from them but I use their site all the time for getting part numbers and reference prices.
I've ordered twice now from 1stsubaruparts.com but I can't stand their site. Can't complain about shipping costs to Canada with them though.

I have ordered 3 times from 1stsubaruparts in the last 3 weeks. They always have better prices than subaruparts.com but you are right - their site sucks. It never fails that I get an empty shopping cart after going back and forth buying different stuff and I have to start all over again.
I found it is easier to find the part numbers on subaruparts.com, then go to 1stsubaruparts.com and type them all in.

I don't understand why they need to take down their site to update their database. They should be able to do a live update or else create a new database in a testing environment then swap it with their live database.
