Just got this today!!

Amazing!

I decided not to transfer anything from GT3 (I'd rather work for it). Bought a used '89 Skyline GTS-T (couldn't decide between that and an old Galant VR4). The physics are less forgiving than in GT3, but that's good; I needed more of a challenge.

I can't wait to try it in HD on our projector this weekend!

Yep, I got mine late late Sunday, and finally got to play it for a bit last night, and I did the exact same thing. I started out with the orange Mister2, and I hated it, way to happy in the rear end. So, I reloaded, grabbed that '89 Skyline (Silver-Blue, GTS Spec M, I think), and hit the Sunday Cup. I didn't transfer anything either, mainly because I want to do the licenses again, so I can get back to my driving level of GT3.

My question is, we have a review thread, but we don't have an...

the Legacy B4 Blitzen sounds pretty nice, but the STi is just really horrible sounding.

Yeah the blitzen does sound pretty good. I had an all out war with that car in one of the japan races. The STi sounds like a POS...i might just delete everything and start all over so i can get a subaru rally car. I have the black STi..but i like the blue subies with the graphics . I finally finished my ib liscence today...took me 4 hours to do it just because on the 15th thing it took me 8 tries with that stupid alfa romeo. That car kept wanting to spin out in 3rd gear. Now on to the ia liscences

i won that second rally and got the Toyota Rally car. did it again and sold it ($200,000+). then the Japan series with the Toyota, and got the 350Z LM racecar. the 350Z ownz! drives like its on rails - makes it easy to win a lot of the other races....

I think i'm a little too phanatical (sp?) when it comes to subaru's. I'm too much of a subaru freak to get anything else. So my goal is to get enough money to buy every subaru out there and beast them out. I bought the most expensive tranny and LSD....i widened the gear ratio so that i would be doing about 110 mph in 3rd gear lol....is that better or worse?

my STi and B4 Blitzen are tuned to the max, but that 350Z LM makes them both look stupid.

Alan, any 350Z photos? I have the Blitzen which I bought used. I also like the Silvia in the used car lot in bright yellow. I'll eventually get a 04 STi just to have one. I can't believe they didn't put the 69 Hurst Olds in or a 70 442 W-30. Oldsmobile had great muscle cars. Only Olds in GT4 is the Shelby Series 1 (Oldsmobile Aurora V-8)

Speeking of muscle cars.....I took that 05 Mustag my sister in law made me buy and took it to the FR races and won them all with some good battling. Then I went to the US races with it and tried the Hot Rod race with it, I got spanked The funny thing was that the car acctually made up time in the corners, A Mustag...cornering Anyway I went back and bolted a supercharger to it so now it's pushing like 400 something horse and burns tire though 3rd gear. Talk about tail happy. I did manage to win the races I ran with it, but man do you REALLY need to modulate that throttle.

Yea, I read a review about the new Mustang... Even though it is BUTT UGLY (IMHO) The body is alot stiffer and it corners alot better than the one that it replaces... That is good... So Ford is getting in the business of making a car with a V-8 go around corners quick now? Man, the world really must be coming to an end!!!

Thumbs up I finally got a chance

to play this hardcore today.

I made it a point to go straight for getting the DeLorean and the Ford RS200. I'm suprised you can win such good cars early on (like the Cadillac CIEN and that weird Mitsu. concept). I'm not really sure if that's good or bad...

I think out of everything I've done so far, I like the tarmac rallies the best.

I still haven't had the chance to "play" much yet, per se, I'm still working on the licenses. The only reason is because the only 2 races I can enter with the Skyline are Sunday and FR. Sunday is done, but I'm getting my @$$ handed to me in FR by the front two. Oh well, I've got no plans this weekend, so I should be fully licensed by Monday.
