How about the Ferrari 288 GTO? Not the cleanest lines for a Ferrari, but a very sought after car!

Thats my favorite Ferrari. Don't think its ugly...do you guys? Maybe I'm on something.

How about the Bricklin. Those are pretty ugly and I don't find them desirable but some people must.

Hrm, ugly ducklings with cool factor.

Well, the SVX could be considered ugly... I think it's definitely not a 'clean' design, but it's very purposeful and determined. I like it's design a lot, but I don't think it's along the same lines as a car like.... oh... Aston Martin's vanquish. That's a very beautiful car. Same with the jag xj220. Both gorgeous.

But let me see:

Edsel
Old mopars like 60-65 darts, old chrysler 300s with the 'slant eyed' headlights, for some reason the uglyness of a lot of old AMCs really appeals ot me, like the Pacer, Gremlin, Eagle.

More later.

A Honda Insight.... I'd love to swap a built K motor in one of those someday...

Sentra SE-R is definitely not pretty...but has so much potential.

I'd also agree on the Honda Element... I dont think they look very good...but there is still something cool about them. Seem like it would be great for snowboarding trips.

I personally don't think it's ugly, but the body lines, square fog lights, etc aren't as aesthetically pleasing as say the 550/575 Maranello or classic Ferrari's like the Daytona or GTO.

That Ferrari 288 GTO rocks. I see where people might think it's ugly, but jeez. It's a Ferrari!

I think the 1984 Mustang SVO is awesome. The front end is, well, a bit weird. It was more of a transition from the 1983 front end to the 1987 front end (flush headlights and a parking lamp on either side of the head light). But, of the SVO's, I think the 86 is the ugliest because the lights and parking lamps were flush, but it still did not look right.

1984:

1986:

Nevertheless, the SVO was awesome. 2.3L Turbo 4, 190 HP, big fat tires, and lots of fun. My buddy from highschool had an 84. We had a blast in that car.

Good call on the SVO. I tend to perfer the ugly cars most, like that Volvo thing I saw on the side of the road.

I'm gonna need to respectfully disagree with ya on that one... A little funky, but not ugly in my book, but then again it is a 400hp jukebox on wheels

Now the 308 is another story

I've got an '88 with the later bumpers, and I love it. It's amazing the difference a few details make, the front & rear spoilers make that car Not to forget the wheels

i hate the way the 2nd generation mustangs look...the first generation is were its at the thrid generation in cool but too many people have it, its one of those cars that if you want a cheep sports car you get a mustang, as for the 4th generation definately weird yet cool i like the fact that they got ideas from the first and third generation and put it into it... would definately look cool with some magnum wheels like the originals and some side scoops like the 1st generation
