I watched "The Day After Tomorrow" last night. Now I seem to pay more attention to weather anomalies.

Hope Harvey is safe.

I heard about that storm too!

Apparently, several small towns in northern NSW were completely isolated due to the floodwaters.

Ironic, isn't it!

Large sections of northern NSW become flooded, and down in Sydney, we are slowly running out of water!!!

We currently have water restrictions in Sydney, and this means (among other things) that.............................

....................I can't use a hose to wash my SVX!!!!!!!!!

Glug glug bubble bubble.

Hi Chris, yes a bloody good storm.
We have had no rain since April, and not much then. Drought breaks and we get 300mm/10" in two days, with 190km winds.

No great damage, other than the road that I just had graded and topped, The phone line down to 4.8 k On the up side, water tanks full, dam full. I have solar and wind powered electricity, and the wind turbine is on a 80' tower. At the height of the wind it sounded like a flight of hellcoptors, but the batteries are full

I am about 2km from the coast, back in the forrest. The trees protect us from the full blast of the storm.

Jason don't fret, this has come down from the north, its past us now and headed your way. My son in Albion Park said it was pissen down there now.

Harvey.

Dude, that is awesome!!! You reminded me of my day ... He always talks about his Solar Panels and Water tanks ... Good to hear that everything was pretty good with ya. Hadn't seen ya around in a while, so I figured that I'd better check on ya. Especially after I saw that that storm went through Coffs Harbour...

Well make sure that beauty stays safe!!! I'll be back to Australia in a few years... Hopefully we can grab some beers and talk SVXi or something along those lines!!
