Dent messagers

Has anyone used these paintless dent removal services? any feedback on quality of work? We have a dent to fix from a parking lot bump and don't want to be without the SVX for a week in the Suby body shop.

I have a freind who owns a paintless dent removal shop. He does an excellent job. I think it depends on the person's level of experience. My friend learned from the fellow at the Princeton, IN Toyota plant who has been doing it for years. I've also worked with car dealerships who have hired "Dent Doctors" after hail storms, with great success.

Don't bother with buying the crapola they have on TV, unless you have a few months to practice on a car that you don't care much about. The kit I got was less than satisfactory.

Randy,

thanks for your reply. Would your friend recommend one franchise over the other, thanks for your reply. BTW, are you 6'-10". left-handed and throw a baseball 100 mph? (You bird-killer)

Obviously, since my friend is a private operator, he'd recommend HIS shop over any other. Again, I'd just go by the shop and interview the person who does the work -- make sure they've been around for a while. The more cars they've done, the better they get at it. I remember watching my friend practicing on his grandma's car, when he first started out. That was five years ago.

And, no, I haven't played baseball since little league. I wouldn't mind having my namesake's money, but I wouldn't say I'd take his looks.
