What's wrong with Jeeps... I had a 2 door Cherokee (Everyone here know it all to well as "Stalker") earlier last year... That thing never gave me an ounce of trouble... And I put it through hell!!!

oh that's a tough one. the first number that pops out of my head is $25,000. i understand that's a lot of money for a 7 year old car. it'd be different if i really needed the money. i'd probably consider much less if that were the case. but now, i'd be doing myself a great disservice by letting it go for what NADA or kelly blue book says its worth.

That's right... They are practically the same engine... Just diffrent turbos(lower boost for the foresterXT), diffrent cams, diffrent intercooler, diffrent transmission(dosent really matter)... That' about it...

Ah like salt in the wounds that I didn't buy it for 16,800. when they offered it to me, and with 170 less miles!

97. They were asking 17500. and sold under 17k. I was suprised back then, not now though.

was it an Lsi? the delearship i purchased mine through was asking $21,988, but had it advertised for $20,925 on auto trader. on paper, i paid that price, but traded a 2002 forester s premium pkg straight across i still owed $20,100 on.

Hunh, maybe there was 2? C'est possible? Did yours have 8000 miles? I think it was in 2002 that it was there. Now that I think back, they were asking about 21, came down to 17500 and then 16800. when I offered about 15k.

What stealership was it at?

yes. it had 8024 miles on it when i purchased it from shortline subaru in aurora, colorado.

and if i may bring this thread back to it's original topic....i drove the forester 2.5xt today. and the baja turbo. i must say, i liked them. i liked them A LOT! surprisingly, i even prefered the baja over the forester. damn! i wish i didn't have the jeep!
