I learned almost every song on my guitar - some of their stuff sounds like classical music if you turn off the amp. I took a classical guitar class in college and I'd play them metallica and no one would believe what it was.

Once the Load cd's hit they were heading downhill fast.
I actually like Load and ReLoad, as well as S&M...

S&M is interesting.

If the loads were put out by another group I'd probably think they were brilliant, but since they're put out by metallica I see them as a letdown.

how about 'SOLDOUT' or 'PLZRETIRE' for Metallica-themed plates.
Howzabout.... NO!!!!!!!!!!

Believe me, I get harassed about Metallica ALL THE TIME. I've grown a very thick skin. Besides, SOLDOUT is already taken & PLZRETIRE has too many letters

How about comming up with something to tribute SLAYER.

but no... eBay already has its resident Slayer fanatic, don't want to infringe upon his established territory.

As for the "new" Metallica ~ I like all of it. Yes, even St. Anger, but that was a hard sell even for ME! The first time I heard it I wanted to bawl my eyes out like a little kid who wanted a puppy but got a goldfish instead.

I love Rob Trujillo, though! Suicidal Tendencies & Infectious Grooves are so freakin' cool...
