Quick, Quick! Sign up for the Steven's Pass Mini-meet this Sunday!

Ho-ho-ho SVX-ers!

I just got off the phone with Alycone and we decided that our cars really need to get a taste of some pure winter fun -- A TRIP TO STEVEN'S PASS THIS WEEKEND! I did a solo meet there (he-he) and I had the most fun since Fall Colors. The roads are clear and safe even at Steven's, but the parking lots are covered with well-packed snow and there is plenty of distant spots with NO CARS -- ideal for some AWD doughnuts. I tried it, and believe me it feels great! Just drop it down to 1st gear and hit 4000rpm into a beautiful controlled spin! I was able to make it to places only 4x4's go with no problem! You should see the looks on people's faces seeing a sports car climb up and down the slopes! Here are some samples:

Interested? Plan is to meet up in Monroe on Sunday (Dec. 7) around Noon and take off to Steven's Pass. We can make it there around 1:30-2:00pm if we stop somewhere for a cup of coffee (i.e. Gold Bar). If we spent 2h at the Pass we could make it back by 5:30-6pm.

Should be fun! Aly and I are going and we hope to see a bunch more people come up

Hope to see you there!

-Nick

Hey, you got online before me! Well, I'll be there. I was hoping it would snow down here more, but I don't want to wait until january to go snow driving again.

Hey, hey! I did indeed get on-line first Why wait? It's only an hour away. I have nothing to do on Sundays so we call it a date Hehe Just kidding. Let's call it a group date. I hope to see more people reply. I called Earl, Troy, and Gar. I have a buddy with a liquid silver (you met him at the last meet) who may also be interested and I'll also invite the guy with the GT3000 from our last drunken meet. We should get a good gig going!

I am there too.

I've been dying to test my car out in the snow!

When did you go up there? Some weekends are really packed full of idiots.

I used to go back and forth from Wenatchee to Kirkland '93 to '95 in my Impreza on US2. I'd cruise past people in SUV's going 65 in knee deep snow. It was awesome!

Hey, hey! It looks like we've got a good crowd going then Happy, happy, joy, joy AWD boy! That's what it's all about

Harold,

I went up there for Thanksgiving last Thursday. There were quite a lot of people but there were still empty parking lots for fun. Nobody seemed to care much about me spinning around. Like Aly had said, most of the ski/snowboard traffic happens in the morning. If we hit the Steven's 2-3pm we should be right on time. Maybe we can grab some food up there also. It will rock!

I think it would rock if we could get 8 or 9 cars!

Good deal! So 12:00pm sounds good for everyone then? What's a good place to meet in Monroe? I know there is a large shopping center there with nice parking lots. It's right where you catch up with Hwy 2 to Steven's Pass. Perhaps we should meet there? Any ideas anybody?

How about we meet around the Bank of America or Jack in the Box? Its easy to find, take a left at the last stop light in Monroe on US2 (I think its Old Owen Road and US2-Ruth's Realty is across the street).

All I can find is the McDonalds, Fred Meyers, the reformatories, Valley Hosp, a few fire stations and the boy scout camp up the road.

Hmmm, is the jack in the box where I make a U turn when I realize I've missed my left onto woods creek? Okay, I can find it.
