Lets get the show on the road

Met the right people last night at Lancaster County Motors. I went there to drop some XT alloys off for a friend who works for Subaru in Cherry Hill. I was kidding him that he needs to steal the pace car for April and he told me he don't have the clearance but introduced me to the gentleman who does. Please sign up soon if you're gonna come so I have the numbers backing up everything.

On a side note he told me that the car is an absolute beast to drive. Top speed somewhere close to 200mph.

Pace car

Hi Ben and Mike, Last year someone posted that cost was the problem. As I remember, they needed two warm bodies ,a flat bed truck and the SVX. That was the reason why we didn't have it last year. As in most things, it always comes to money. Good luck this year and take care, BOBB

The reason it didnt happen last year is because the guy organizing it got mad at us (the people on the network) and stopped any plans he had to try to get it for us.

Yes I was told it needs to be trailered but then again they'll trailer that stupid 22b car anywhere. I have one of the warm bodies in Dennis from the USMB and his boss was very open to the idea (esp. when I told him dinner would probably be on us).

Yeah that's the one. He said the engine was built by McBride's Racing I think (I had never heard of 'em but nodded just the same and that it had a 2:8 ratio or something like that for the gearing. Technical talk causes my brain to shut down.

I'v heard of Mcbrides but I thought they built NASCAR engines and the SVX would do close to 200MPH if it had the extra horsepower. You think they would notice if we switched the drivetrain with a normal one overnight?

As most of you know, I live like, 5 miles from SOA. So if you need someone to do an "In person visit" to SOA, let me know. I will gladly throw my best suit on, or whatever and do what needs to be done.

I'd say something in black with a nice ski mask to go along with it will ensure the pace car makes it .

Helmet

Hi Chris, I think something in a pinstripe would go well with the Kevlar Helmet.
In Germany one time they had a rock concert with a" Helmet Night" The first fifty guys named Helmet, got in free. Take care, BOBB
