just raced a ferrari 328gt
i was at the stop light by myself and a red ferrari 328 pulled next to me. i was excited and when the light turned green. we both gradually started moving and then we were all motors. him on first gear and me on one, there was no match for him as we went on to another stop light. i won.

did he forget you were racing? sounds like the time my brother beat a 911 in his cougar. the 911 stalled

we really were racing light to light. but the ferrari exhaust note, you knew that it was wide open because the subaru was beating him

I had the pleasure, not long after getting mine, of going on a Ferrari run down the south of NSW.....360, 355 and 348 - no chance at all
 However, the older F-cars, especially on the winding roads, were a different story - suffice to say that, when we stopped, quite a few drivers commented on how surprised they were with the SVX although...I did fry my brakes and nearly run up the back of a 355 Spyder!  There was, what I thought, an old Porsche 911 along....white paint, early 80's shape, looked ok but nothing flash...no one paid it any attention....till on a certain bit of freeway it accelerated, caught and overtook two 360's that were on a run in the adjacent lane...turns out it has nearly 500hp - a brilliant sleeper if I ever saw one...the 360 pilots were gobsmacked! Still like my SVX though!!
