The pictures were from the Japanese 10th Anniversary SVX Meet.
It was held in Sept., 2001; 111 to 117 SVXes showed up.

I tried to break that record at our meet. Obviously ,that didn't happen.

You realize, Larry, that had we broken the record, 117 Japanese SVX owners would have committed Hari Kari out of humiliation. Just what we need for international relations!

Maybe next time! Ron.

Talking

Anyone notice the black (ebony) one with the steering wheel on the "wrong" side? Looks like at least one Japanese owner is into "foreign" cars.

Ron (Sake to me!).

re: so beautiful

that's such a wonderful sight. especially with condition they keep their cars. nice to see a manual tranny there as well. as with people with different rims and such. great to see svx's cared for

today i saw 3 svx's at the local subaru dealership. all in the shop. one guy cxt2001 knows. a white 94+ svx with tranny problems (big surprise. but from what the tech told me the owner went and got his tranny done, but apparently they got some half ass mechanic to put it in cheap and it did not last 3 months.) that white one had a ulgy spoiler on it .

the green and black ones i saw were 92 and they look fairly decent. one was in for a/c compressor and the other for something we could not find.

It is a 1994 model imported from the US. Still for sale (has been since 1998) for US$26,000 plus tax/registration.

There is also a claret SVX that has his/her left front whell on backwards.

Ron,

I'm counting on you to be at the 20th Anniversary SVX Meet.
It will be at Earl's house. By that time, he should own every SVX in North America.
