Ummm...I don't know of any 18MP cameras. I've heard of 13.7MP cameras and they cost USD$5000 (without the lens).

nice pictures tim. i saw a nice picture in someone's locker where a svx was parked and off in the distant background was a spectacular view of the mountains. i forgot who it was tho, still looking ;*(

Technical correction

On your site, it states the following:

90/10% power split front/rear, with up to a 50/50% power split for maximum traction


Should be:
90/10% power split front/rear, with up to a 60/40% power split for maximum traction

Most scanners are capable of that. My cheap-o $99 Canon thing goes up past 10,000.

yes that's true but that would involve taking the photo with a non-digital camera and getting it developed then scanned.

What was done to take that pic? I'm assuming either a special camera filter was used or else it was modified later by computer?

I really like the pic though

I believe a lengthened exposure time with a tripod was used... thats my guess.

When doing yearbook editing we just would tweek bitdepth when taking in images.....Although we created all our borders and anything else possible with Adobe illustrator, the obvious advantage.
