agreed. I have my SVX shod with Firestone Winterforce rubber and the grip and directional control is a revelation.
Surprisingly quiet on bare highway as well. Been driving mine every day around town the past 3 weeks and the rural outskirts because I am still on winter vacation from work. accelerating from a stop is smooth and straight with no wheel spin. Coming to a stop in squeaky packed snow, the ABS barely comes on. But when it does in a 'panic' stop the results are astoundingly short.
