I got my car back from repair shop. Now when I go to remote lock the car, instead on on beep to lock and 2 to un lock it does about 5 real fast beeps and locks the doors . Press again and it beeps 5 short fast beeps and the door unlocks . What up with this ? What did they do to my alarm?

Just push the security button on the dash.

When the security system is disarmed with this switch, the locks still work, but the system emits a rapid system of beeps to let you know the alarm is disabled.

Without the key in the ignition, the LED on the security button should blink about every 1/4 second. Once you arm it with the remote, it blinks a lot slower (about every 5 seconds or so)

Only working in one position. The dash light blinks and I get rapid pulse horn when I try to arm it and the doors do lock... I push the dash button the light goes out and no auto lock or remote alarm noise .Could something be open? I only have 2doors and a trunk. The hood doesn't matter? Could they have messed it up when they checked the CEL under the kick pad? They almost ripped my dash side panel off ( area of the switch )

Fixed it , clock and dome light were not working also. I replaced the fuse under the hood and it works now . Go figure

Yep. Best thing I've ever done for mine are to do everything myself that I can and annoy the hell out of the mechanics when I have to take it in. (I'm currently exploring the feasibility of installing a lift in a home garage :P.)
