Source for new AC compressor

Dealersdirect ($500) can not deliver - avy other recommendations?

I would prefer a brand new one instead of rebuilt..... I have a quote for $715 + shipping (well over $100) - kinda steep.

I think the suction valve is bad in mine.

Re: Source for new AC compressor

I suspect Subaru may be your only source for a new unit.

Re: Source for new AC compressor

I would try to source a good used unit, as they really don't go bad too often

There's nothing wrong with rebuilt.

Re: Source for new AC compressor

I thought there was a change in these from 94-95? This is showing that it the same fit for 92-97.

Re: Source for new AC compressor

Excuse my ignorance but doesn't that mean the connectors will be different?

Re: Source for new AC compressor

The connectors are on the lines, not the compressor itself.

the same compressor for all years of the SVX
