Rear qtr. panel is one piece, correct?

Is this a weld on item that needs to be co-joined with another to complete it or is it whole in its entirety?

Re: Rear qtr. panel is one piece, correct?

The rear quarter needs to be welded to the rest of the chassis... unlike the front fender. There is also a secondary panel right below the rear tail light that is joined to the rear quarter.

This secondary panel joint is actually braised, ground, filled, and finished at the factory by hand. It is one of several parts of the SVX that are finished by hand.

If you notice there is no seam... most cars have a seam or terminate with a bumper panel or trunk where the rear quarter starts to make its curve to become the back of the car.

Needless to say, the rear quarter panels on the SVX are very complex!

When you buy a rear quarter panel from subaru, the part under the tail light is already joined to it properly.

So then the only thing you need to do is paint it and then still weld it to the body or no?
