Street Race

I was an avid street racer. As I grew a bit older I found I can have just as much fun at the track, where there are saftey officials, emergency medical teams, fire trucks, and a larger group of people to show off to. All for a mere $18! I still feel its my duty to be the first off the light on the streets, but for any real primal urges, I take care of that at the track. I too an living on borrowed time

Chris

good point chris.

it is this urge that you just feel yourself fighting. hell it is fun to go fast dodging around and stuff, but you are right the consequences can be life altering. i think i will leave my craziness at the track too.

My opinion: if your gonna race: take it to the track!

Being an active member of the MR2 board, I have been invovled with many discussions about street racing. There are s few young people with MR2's love to street race the riced out honduhs. I have had many a colorful discussion with these kids about the dangers of racing on the street.

Being a newbie here, it great to see everyone agreeing here that street racing is dangerous.

I drive in a spritied fashion: but street racing is plain stupid! If I need to beat someone, I'd rather take it to an autocross, where the results are official...

So thanks guys, for keeping the roads safe.
-Zoltan.
