.

Almost as funny as this article in the Examiner referring to the SVX as "The Poor-Man's James Bond Car".

I particularly like the lines that say:

"It was quick too – with 0 to 60 times in the mid to low 7 second range. If you purchase the first 2 years of the SVX, top speed is an astounding 182 mph. Later, Subaru added an electronic governor to keep top speeds at 153 mph."

"Modifications can push the already robust 230 horsepower engine to nearly 300 horsepower with a few air-intake and exhaust modifications."

There were front-drive SVXs which did have an option for manual transmission, but they were rare and you missed out on the amazing AWD
Where did that moron get his info?!

Edit: and this

This car is real close to me. I drove by it in fact, it actually looks like it is in very good condition. If it were not for the dents on right side I might have bid on it.

Re: reader beware seller hasnt done research lmfao

lmao yet more bs quotes from the james bond bullsh!t website

"There is an unusual fuzzy, moleskin-ish material that trims many interiors. It seems easy to clean and fairly durable."

"The all-wheel-drive (AWD) units only had the 4EAT 4-speed automatic transmission available. There were front-drive SVXs which did have an option for manual transmission, "

this guy seriously has no idea does he lol i think its hilarious he says but they were rare and you missed out on the amazing AWD (especially here in Denver)

denver ...... my guess is he has never left the denver area ?
or his parents basment ........

Yes, in 94 and 95 FWD were offered in the states as a lower priced option and with better fuel economy to try and get more sales before Subaru went to their all wheel drive on every vehicle in 96.
