spring has sprung!!

I took the 68 Mustang to the exhaust shop last friday. It came home on monday, so I had the weekend to play with other stuff. What we did was start the 40 Chevy project.

We gutted the interior and got her fired up for the first time since 1978! I drove he about a mile before parking her behind the rollback for a ride to the welding shop. She is parked there now. I took the Mustang to the upholstry shop today, and will not see it again till next wednesday.
That means that the stang will not be an issue for the better part of a week.
I will be making great strides on the 40, and getting 'Lady Di' ready for Reading.

I will not be attending Reading again this year. Too many irons in the fire.

I have to work on saturday. yada,yada...(Take lots of pics!)

I did add some pics to the photobucket tonight.(mostly Stang and the 40 chev.)

The '40' will be at a show on the 4th of July. The '65 Cuda will be axing in may

Jerry, I am really saddened by the news. Last time I was on the phone with Tom, I was just telling him how happy I was that you would make this one.

I wish you luck with your new project, and I am sure we will meet in the summer.

The drivetrain was installed by the Ford dealership that owns the car.
It has a '96' 5.0 set up out of a crate, with a Holly 750 and electric pump. It has 2 1/4 inch duel pipes with 'shorty' Ford headers and Magnaflows.

It has a bark to it! Before I put the new tires on, I just might have to cook the old ones.(With a vid cam rolling)
