New SVX owner

Hi all.

I just purchased a 1994 SVX LSi, black, 66K miles, ECU Chip stage 1. It will be my daily driver.

I'm hoping I've got myself a nice car!!! Make me feel really good and give me some straight up reasons why I spent my $4,000 right (other than the funky windows).

Thanks - Ben

Re: New SVX owner

Greetings.

I think you spent your $4000 right because the SVX is a brilliant car, especially on the open road. Mine are old and world-weary and I still rely on them every day and love 'em. Yours hasn't even hit its stride at only 66,000 miles. Good luck with it.

Re: New SVX owner

Thanks - I'm glad I got a low mileage SVX but the good deal was probably a result of a bunch of dings all over the place and a little bit of paint oxidation. If I'm keeping this car until its a classic, I think a new paint job is in order

Oh! And I totally already have a small problem.

Behind the steering column... or somewhere in the driver's side dash... is a clicking noise.

three seconds

Yeah, you get it. Its extremely annoying.

Re: New SVX owner

The clicking could be the sucurity system if the alarm is disconnected. See if you have a blinking red light to the left of the steering wheel.

Re: New SVX owner

what to say to make you feel really good about spending $4000 on the COOLEST CAR ON EARTH with LOW mileage, you will feel like a rock star when you drive it, and it goes really really fast, you can thread a needle in heavy traffic on the highway with it if you have to, and the looks you get from other drivers are priceless
