AC question

Hola.

Are the ac compressors all the same for all the different year svx's? Except for the freon difference in the 92's, could I use a 96 or 97 compressor in my 92? Thanks

I do know that a 94 and 92 are the same at least physically.

If I'm reading the diagram correctly, the 97 part number supercedes the 92 part number:

If the link don't work, just do what I did and check on the different parts in the diagram. You may have to do a "search" for Compressor on the '92.

yes you can use the same compressor on the svx from92-97 the only thng is that your set up i believe is r-12, drain the compressor oil and flush out the sytem, put sysnthtic pag oil in the compressor unit the amount you took out. alsoarway replace allseal with new nitrat seals. this should be done at a good a/c shop. i charge around $320 for this service. if you have any other q's please ask me
